KOSTKA is a live training platform for hands-on experience in radio communications, in-orbit operations, and satellite systems engineering. Knowledge gained through each phase is actively transferred to incoming team members, lowering the barrier for every Czech space project that follows.

PRIMARY SCIENTIFIC GOAL

UHF Antenna Validation

Test a custom UHF antenna developed entirely in-house by YSpace members. Combined with an onboard radio receiver, the payload will measure interference in the amateur UHF band from low Earth orbit – a vantage point unavailable to any ground-based instrument. Results will validate the antenna design for use in future missions and provide open data for the wider radio engineering community.
